ISO9001:2015 Quality Surveillance Audit Complete

NEWS 20/01/2026

On Monday 12th January 2026, GEOTEC Surveys underwent our most recent surveillance audit for ISO9001:2015 Quality Assurance, through British Assessment Bureau (BAB).

Our certification doesn’t expire until December 2027, however, GEOTEC are required to be audited on an annual basis, by an external assessor.

Both our Management System and Onsite Procedures are evaluated as part of this audit process.

As such, the auditor met with our survey team onsite on Monday morning at Dauxwood Preschool in Billingshurst.

The preschool requested a non-invasive Underground Mapping Survey to detect and map buried services and utilities that may be present within the vicinity of the existing outer perimeter boundary fence.

The current wooden fence is being replaced by a new metal fence as the existing wooden fence is continually in need of repair and maintenance which is not sustainable for the preschool.

After signing in with the preschool, the auditor went through the survey process with the survey team and inspected their equipment documentation, such as calibration certificates and training accreditations, including CSCS.

Once the site aspect of the audit had been completed, the management system was scrutinised back at GEOTEC Head Office and included the following elements:

  • Quality Management System (BMS/QMS), Objectives & Organisation Chart
  • Overall Delivery Process
  • Risk and Opportunities
  • Equipment Procedures, Calibration & PAT testing
  • Management Action Log
  • Customer Feedback examples: questionnaires, emails, testimonials
  • Completed Internal Audit reports
  • Management Review
  • Planning of Changes
  • Legal Register
  • Insurances
  • Fire Safety
  • HR & Training

As our 2025 Audit did not result in any findings, there were no non-conformances to close out, we did demonstrate that we had taken on board an “opportunity for improvement”.

Our 2026 Audit did not result in any non-conformances either, whilst the auditor did take the invitation to offer GEOTEC 2x further avenues for “opportunities for improvement”.  These will be reviewed and actioned in the coming year.

These external audits allow us to keep on improving our systems and processes to enable us to offer the highest level of service to our clients in terms of delivering comprehensive GPR Surveys, Utility Mapping and Topographical Surveying

By embracing these external evaluation processes, GEOTEC can continually enhance our procedures and the way we do things, which drives the organisation forward, year after year.
