GEOTEC Surveys Successfully pass Railway RISQS Audit.
We have achieved this feat without receiving a single non-conformance For The Third Year in a Row!
This accreditation allows GEOTEC to continue to support our clients working on the Railway Infrastructure, in the provision of invaluable Utility Mapping, PAS128 Surveys and GPR Surveys to the Rail sector, as well as 3D Topographical Surveys.
Our Sentinel sponsored PTS certified survey staff have vast experience in carrying out complex surveys on the Railway.
This often involves working at weekends and at night when access to work on or near the line is available through line blocks or possessions.
This latest Audit result demonstrates our ever-present high standards and attitude to continued improvement to our clients.
This also illustrates our commitment to working in line with Network Rail’s Alcohol & Drug Policies, Fatigue Management Procedures and Occupational Health & Fitness to Work Guidelines.
As part of this our team undergo random Drug & Alcohol Tests and their working hours are monitored to ensure that they do not exceed the required 14 hour door to door rule.
In the last 12 months, we have been fortunate enough to assist our clients in delivering projects relating to the Access For All (AFA) scheme, which is centred around providing step-free access for passengers throughout the stations and the HV Feeder renewal scheme.
The HV Feeder scheme include either partial renewal, consisting of short sections of oil filled HV cables being replaced with XLPE cables to full-length Feeder renewal projects, where full PAS128 and 3D Topographical Surveys were required to assist in informing the designs of these largescale projects.
