The Achilles UVDB Audit

GEOTEC met with the Achilles Auditor on the morning of 1st August 2024 at the former Debenham’s site in Worthing, where we were carrying out an Underground Mapping & GPR Survey for buried services, utilities, voids and anomalies, on behalf of our client.

The client inducted the survey team and the auditor in line with their own health and safety procedures before walking the site with them and discussing the survey requirements and any hazards present.

The survey team also had their Project Folder downloaded on their phones which was emailed to them prior to the survey and the lead surveyor completed their own briefing & site walkover before starting the surveys.

The Auditor then assessed our Onsite Activities in conjunction with our office management system, before heading back to our head office in Wormley to complete the Management System aspect of the Audit, which covered Health & Safety, Environment & Quality.

Throughout the previous 12 months, GEOTEC Surveys Ltd have completed survey works within the following high risk environments, using our highly experienced, multi-trained survey teams:

  • Water Treatment Sites
  • Sewage Treatment Works
  • Distribution Substations
  • National Grid Substations
